Entry Point depends upon the gifts of those who are part of our faith community as well as from friends of Entry Point.  We are open to all, and we respect the faith journeys of all.  Our mission is to welcome, value and inspire all people on their own faith journey while embracing diverse beliefs.  We are an independent faith community, and we receive no subsidies from either a parent church or a national denomination.

 

Our Gift Acceptance Policy provides detailed information on giving to Entry Point.  Upon request we have instruction sheets on how to give specific gifts.  Here are the types of gifts you might consider in support of our mission.

 

• Cash, checks made out to Entry Point or by credit card via our website.

• Contributions directly from your IRA.  There are tax savings for this type of gift, but you must be 70 ½ years of age or more to take advantage of the savings.

• Gifts of appreciated publicly traded securities.

• Beneficiary designation on life insurance

• Bequests in a will or trust

 

A Gift Acceptance Committee exists to administer the policy and review any exceptions to policy.  The Entry Point Executive Team is the final decision maker on all matters of giving to Entry Point.

 

Donors are urged to consult with their financial, tax and/or estate planning advisors before making a charitable gift.  Entry Point will provide written acknowledgements for the donor for all gifts received but cannot provide tax guidance related to any gift.

 

In no instance will any member of the Gift Acceptance Team or Executive Team receive any income related to a gift to the church.
